I still do remember what happened on that day. I cannot forget it. It was a tragedy and we learnt that we were living in world of uncertainty. I could not but watch the videos and I could not believe it was happening then.
I was watching television in Italy , it must have been a TV show,when we saw a special edition of the news informing us about what had happened in the USA and in the city of New York. The two big Towers were falling and many people had died or were dying there while they were hoping to find a way to escape.
Since then many things have changed and yet we are still facing the greatest issue of hatre and wars. It was a war, yes, it was a war which made us realize that most of what should be safe wasn't safe at all. We changed our way of travelling and we became more suspicious………….
At school we do teach 11/09 - here is a free lesson which was shared online.
It happened in New York but it also happened in Europe later.
We felt that we were losing our pillars: in every place we saw enemies and the war continued.
